**About the Position**

The City of Stirling is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on a part time basis 3 days per week, until 30 June 2024. As an experienced customer focused Payroll Officer, you will enjoy working within a busy work environment, and have pride in being a great communicator, a relationship builder and team player.

Reporting to the Senior Payroll & Improvements Officer you will work as part of a team of experienced, customer focused, and committed HR Services team. You will be well supported by the broader Human Resources team who work in close partnership with Payroll to ensure timely fortnightly processing of pays.

**About You**
- Previous experience as a Payroll Officer, preferably running end to end pay, STP, superannuation and leave processing
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Australian Taxation Office legislation
- A strong focus on customer service along with excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of interpreting relevant awards and legislation
- Strong attention to detail with experience processing high volume payroll data focussing on speed and accuracy

This temporary part-time position working 3 days per week. The position is a Level 6 Inside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $79,093 to $83,255 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.

- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
