**Doncare** is a not-for-profit organisation that provides supports families and individuals of all ages to access opportunities that will assist them in their daily living and enhance family functioning. Doncare provides high quality services in the areas of Counselling, Information and Crisis Support, Family Violence Services, Family Services, and Social Support for Seniors.
**About the role**:
The position will have primary responsibility for the day to day coordination of generalist HR operational activities for all employees, students and volunteers to support the achievement of Doncare’s Strategic Plan. As a trusted member, the HR Coordinator will work closely with the wider Doncare leadership team to provide support, advice and coordination to deliver a full range of Human Resources responsibilities.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the HR Coordinator will work collaboratively with all parts of the Doncare workforce.
The key components of the position (but not limited to) include:
- Talent Acquisition and Employee Lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding).
- HR Administration and Data Management (Contracts, database management, pre-employment safety screening and adhoc administration).
- Industrial Relations and Employee Relations.
- People Capability Development (Coordinating training records and developing a training calendar, performance reviews and supervision).
- HR advisory on people related matters and continuous improvement of the existing people and safety systems.
- Participate and implement Doncare’s Work Health and Safety procedures and manage Return to Work plans if any.
- Specialised advice and support regarding performance management by offering coaching expertise; interpretation of Awards, policy and legislative requirements.
- Develop and continuously improve key documents with an innovative approach.
**About You**:
You will be enthusiastic, highly organised, detail orientated and driven by a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You will bring a "hands on" approach and be a proactive practitioner who thrives on achieving impactful outcomes for your key stakeholders.
You will have the following:
- Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years professional experience as Human Resources Coordinator.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively foster relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Ability to guide and empower individuals to follow HR related policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience of working in environments where a high degree of judgement, confidentiality and sensitivity is required.
- Proven ability to work in a team with an understanding and commitment to teamwork and an ability to work with a diverse range of people.
- Demonstrated ability in time management, setting priorities and planning work effectively.
- Demonstrated resilience and ability to pivot with changing goals and tasks.
- An understanding and commitment to a community-based agency and volunteerism.
- High level of integrity and reliability.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and data bases, as well as a social media platforms.
