We are seeking a an experienced administration officer to provide support for our Property Services Department. This is a full-time, permanent position currently based in Blackburn North.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager Planning and Reporting, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Establish and maintain office and administration systems for the property services function
- Act as the initial point of contact for the Property Services Leadership Team by, answering routine enquiries, and processing messages for follow-up/action/referral
- Foster constructive and effective working relationships with the Property Services Department and across the organisation, and with external contractors
- Maintain a filing system in consultation with Central Records to ensure all information is centrally recorded
- Provide general administrative support for the Property Services team.
About you
**To be considered for this position you will possess**:
- Demonstrated substantial experience and expertise in providing secretarial and administrative support within a large organisation or department
It is also expected that you have demonstrated experience in development and maintenance of administration systems with an attention to detail using appropriate checking processes to ensure information is recorded accurately. You also possess the team skills to actively participate as a member of a team and move the team towards the completion of both team and individual goals, in conjunction with judgment and maturity to ensure matters of confidential or sensitive nature are handled and delt with appropriately.

Successful applicants will need to have received the mandated COVID-19 vaccinations and be willing to complete pre-employment screening including a Police Check.
This position is graded at Administration Band 3 under the Ambulance Victoria Enterprise Agreement 2020.
