About the Role
We have an exciting max term (12 months) full-time opportunity for an Administration Officer based in our Blackburn office. You will be an integral member of Salvation Army Housing Victoria (SAHV) and will provide administrative support to the State Manager and Housing Coordinators.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring all monthly reporting required by the State Manager has been delivered on time and in accordance with reporting requirements
- Providing accurate and timely communication to relevant agencies/stakeholders as required
- Organising events and meetings including preparing invitations, agendas and coordinating travel and accommodation bookings
- Processing of TSA internal reimbursement requests and invoices for payment into the TSA Financial Management System
- Facilitate support for organising contractors when requested to ensure maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner
About You
Key capabilities:
- Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent) or significant demonstrated equivalent relevant experience, knowledge and skills
- The role is required to exercise initiative, discretion and judgement at times in the performance of duties
- Ability to perform basic book-keeping and receipting tasks
- Ability to prepare, check and edit documentation with a high degree of accuracy
