This position requires both a business value and a broad technology perspective and involves working closely with Cognizant's BU's account, markets, and solution teams to support value proposition development and lead generation initiatives.
Job Summary
The Service Line Sales Leader provides deep expertise in a Service Line Practice Area to close new and expansion opportunities on accounts.
They are actively involved in growing the service line's footprint in accounts through collaborations with Client Partners and independent business development.
In this role, the SLSL will drive Total Contract Value and revenue growth for Cognizant's Integrated Digital Engineering (IDE) practice in Australia.
They will engage in business development and sales activities, including identifying, qualifying, pursuing and closing IDE sales opportunities and renewals.
The position requires working with client leadership teams, with a focus on both broadening IDE's footprint in accounts and cross-selling other Cognizant services.
The Service Line Sales Leader's highest goal is achieving "trusted advisor" status in accounts, so strong technical acumen in IDE, and deep strategic and tactical sales expertise are crucial to their success.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and champion Cognizant's Integrated Digital Engineering led offerings in target accounts (UX/UI, Martech/AdTech, fullstack multicloud software engineering, DevOps,)
- Take a product engineering approach to assemble crossfunctional squads from the IDE practice to conceptualise, design, build and implement world class digital products that meet client needs and enhance CX/EX.
- Work closely with Client Partners and account team to develop and execute client strategy
Business Development:
- Responds to and delivers on client requests; responds to RFP's
- Identifies opportunities, makes proactive proposals to client in line with account strategy
- Wins new business & deals in existing customer accounts at or above targets.
- Leads expansion opportunities as 'pursuit owner' to closure, working closely with crossfunctional Cognizant teams and Client Leadership Teams
- Pursues and secures IDE revenue renewals
- Creates and presents account pipeline, QBR presentations and executive status reports
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in a seniorlevel consulting clientfacing role or account manager leadership role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; dynamic and persuasive presenter of ideas to clients from Director to Clevel; comfortable quickly
- Deep knowledge & experience selling common UX, UI and martech products & services
- Solid understanding of concepts and technologies employed by IDE (DevOps, Cloud, Full-Stack agile software development, microservices),
- Knowledge of crossindustry use cases for IDE offerings + deep domain knowledge in 12 verticals (BFSI, Insurance, Retail & Consumer Product, Government, Materials & Energy etc)
- Strong experience working in relevant partner ecosystems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual, matrixed environment
