Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Sales Service Leader with experience and understanding of Digital Engineering to join our team.
In this role you will provide deep insight into internal and external factors affecting designing and engineering experiences with software.
You will define and shape the opportunity space for digital experiences & engineering, as well as the framework for solutions required to deliver against customer opportunities.
This position requires both a business value and a broad technology focus and involves working closely with Cognizant's account, markets, and solution teams to support value proposition development and lead generation initiatives.
The role:
- Lead Cognizant's digital engineering services offerings in sales pursuit offerings working with clients to reimagine their engineering methods, tools and technology.
- Promote digital leadership and industry/horizontal offerings through proactive market engagement and by contributing as a thought leader through social channels and at industry events
- Play an active role as a member of the Integrated Digital Engineering team ensuring digital transformation offerings with Cognizant's existing services; and supporting the expansion of Cognizant in our existing accounts, as well as expanding our brand recognition across Vertical Industries
- Identifying new offerings that Cognizant can take to the market through our Partnerships and Accounts
- Provide strategic leadership and be handson planning to extract more value from our existing commercial relationships.
- Working closely with various Buisness Units to represent and innovate on the service lines for Digital Experience & Engineering
What does success look like?
- Experience in leading successful commercial pursuits of Digital experience and engineering solutions
- Experience with large, complex digital experience and engineering services programs that deliver demonstrative business value through engineering methods, tools and technologies
- Background in effectively working within the new "digital services companies"
- Solid knowledge of new way of working, software engineering principles including Agile, DevOps and Testdriven development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; dynamic in presenting ideas to clients and prospective clients from Director to Clevel; comfortable being able to quickly join the client leadership team and immediately add value
