About the role


We have a permanent part time role for a Support Worker to join our Davis House team located at our Wembley site.

Shifts can include earlies, lates and nights with the opportunity for more hours when necessary.


Davis House is a respite centre offering day and night support to people living with dementia Monday to Friday, providing much needed respite to family members and carers.

As a support worker, you will provide person-centred care to our clients, planning and engaging in individual and group activities, as well as facilitating socialisation and connection with others.

Davis House also runs bus trips twice a week, taking members of the community out for lunch and socialisation.
Experience driving a minibus is essential.


We are looking for people who are energetic, confident, caring and compassionate with a heart for people living with dementia.

Dementia-specific training is provided, and ongoing training and development is encouraged and supported.

About you
You'll have a passion for supporting people with dementia to live their best lives, while also having:

  • Certificate III or higher in Aged Care or related field
  • Minimum 6 months experience as a Support Worker
  • Previous experience in facilitating group activities
  • Ability to drive a minibus
  • Full Driver's license
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
