JRM are looking for a driven professional to support the kitchen operations and play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations by supporting the Head Chef with inventory managemennt, ensuring food quality, menu development, recipe management and adhering to hygiene and portion control standards.
  • Maintain food and labour costs within budget. Minimise wastage and empower the team with regard to effeciency and innovation.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and development of kitchen staff, fostering a high-performance culture through strong leadership.
  • Bring an element of creative input into the kitchen.
  • Experience with stock manangement and ordering is a must.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Full working rights within Australia.
  • Creative mindset and a driven focus on efficiency and adaptability.
