Our Warranty team has kicked off an exciting transformation journey, and we are seeking an organised and customer-focused individual to join us as a Warranty Administrator.

This role is perfect for those looking to advance their career within the Automotive industry, and it may also appeal to truck or car technicians ready to transition away from hands-on work.
  
This position can be based at our Daimler Trucks Laverton site.

About the role:

  • Efficiently and accurately tracking warranty payments within the department
  • Reconciling all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule
  • Process and submit warranty claims in a timely manner and in line with warranty policy and procedures
  • Compile warranty claim documentation in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Verifying submission criteria required by factory or distributor
  • Posting credits into the dealer management system
  • Following upon payment of outstanding claims
  • Controlling warranty parts by ensuring all parts are tagged with mandatory OEM required information, filing and storing of parts in systematic order

About you: 

  • Previous experience working in a Warranty Administration, Technician, Parts or Service Advisor role within a dealership environment is preferred
  • Understanding of Warranty policies and procedures 
  • Ability to interpret technical information relating to automotive products
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office suite
  • Proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail 
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Strong organisational, decision making, and problem-solving skills
