About the RoleWe are seeking an organised and customer-focused individual to join our Warranty team as an Automotive Warranty Specialist.

The role can be based at our Daimler Trucks Laverton site, offering you the chance to work with global brands like Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, and Fuso.

Key Responsibilities- Efficiently and accurately track warranty payments within the department.
- Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
- Process and submit warranty claims in a timely manner and in line with warranty policy and procedures.
- Compile warranty claim documentation in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Verify submission criteria required by factory or distributor.
- Post credits into the dealer management system.
- Follow up on payment of outstanding claims.
- Control warranty parts by ensuring all parts are tagged with mandatory OEM required information, filing, and storing of parts in a systematic order.
- Prior experience working in a Warranty Administration, Technician, Parts, or Service Advisor role within a dealership environment is preferred.
- Understanding of Warranty policies and procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical information relating to automotive products.
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office suite.
- Proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Strong organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- An attractive salary package based on experience and skills, estimated at $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
