About the Role

Velocity Truck Centres is seeking an organised and customer-focused individual to join our Warranty team as a Warranty Administrator.

The successful candidate will be based at our Daimler Trucks Laverton site and play a key role in building a high performing team, while being part of an organisation that values your commitment and supports your growth and development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Efficiently and accurately tracking warranty payments within the department
  • Reconciling all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule
  • Process and submit warranty claims in a timely manner and in line with warranty policy and procedures
  • Compile warranty claim documentation in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Verifying submission criteria required by factory or distributor
  • Posting credits into the dealer management system
  • Following upon payment of outstanding claims
  • Controlling warranty parts by ensuring all parts are tagged with mandatory OEM required information, filing and storing of parts in systematic order
About You
  • Previous experience working in a Warranty Administration, Technician, Parts or Service Advisor role within a dealership environment is preferred
  • Understanding of Warranty policies and procedures
  • Ability to interpret technical information relating to automotive products
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office suite
  • Proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Strong organisational, decision making, and problem-solving skills
