We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a key player in shaping and embedding a proactive, people-focused health and safety culture.
About the Role
This role will play a pivotal part in driving the implementation of our HSE strategy, plans, and wellbeing initiatives.
As a strategic partner, you will provide expert guidance and practical support to operational leaders, manage risk, investigate incidents, and coach teams to achieve continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the execution of TGE's HSE strategy, plans, and wellbeing initiatives.
Provide specialist guidance and support to operational leaders across multiple sites.
Conduct thorough investigations into health, safety, and environmental incidents; identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Develop capability at all levels through training, mentoring, and hands-on partnership.
Collaborate with the Environment and Sustainability team to contribute to broader sustainability initiatives.
Lead continuous improvement in HSE processes, reporting, and compliance across Intermodal, Linehaul, and Fleet teams.
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
Significant experience in a similar HSE advisor or business partner role, preferably in transport, logistics, or heavy industry.
Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management practices.
Demonstrated expertise in incident investigation and driving continuous improvement.
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills.
