Health, Safety and Environmental Leadership Role

About the Job

This newly created role is pivotal in building a proactive, people-focused health and safety culture across teams. You will act as a strategic partner to operations leaders, lead initiatives, manage risk, support incident investigations, and coach teams to continuously improve HSE performance across the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving implementation of TGE's HSE strategy, plans, and wellbeing initiatives. They will provide expert guidance and practical support to operational leaders across multiple sites, investigate health, safety, and environmental incidents; identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive implementation of TGE's HSE strategy, plans, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance and practical support to operational leaders across multiple sites.
  • Investigate health, safety, and environmental incidents; identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Build capability at all levels through training, mentoring, and hands-on partnership.
  • Contribute to broader sustainability initiatives in collaboration with the Environment and Sustainability team.
  • Lead continuous improvement in HSE processes, reporting, and compliance across the Intermodal, Linehaul, and Fleet teams.
