
Health and Safety Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to contribute to the development, management, and delivery of workplace health and safety services. As a senior workforce advisor, you will play a key role in implementing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing work health and safety policies, guidelines, and procedures consistent with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Review and report on workplace health and safety services provided by the organization.
- Implement, review, and coordinate the safety management system and rehabilitation services for the organization.
- Qualifications in work health and safety or injury management are highly regarded. A degree in occupational health and safety, industrial relations, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
- A high level of knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and associated regulations, policies, and standards is essential.
- Demonstrated skill in conducting audits, investigating accidents and dangerous events to identify risks and causative factors, and making recommendations to control risks in compliance with legislation is required.
- Demonstrated ability to apply injury management practices and strategies to facilitate appropriate outcomes for injured and ill employees is necessary.
