Internal Sales – Timber

We are a well-established, family-owned Timber & Hardware company with over 40 years of experience, known for our strong customer relationships and commitment to quality. We're looking for a driven and experienced internal salesperson to join our team and deliver outstanding service to both trade and retail clients.
Your Role Will Include:- Trade and retail sales of timber, hardware, and building supplies
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with trade and retail customers
- Providing expert product advice and top-notch customer service
- Handling sales both in-store and over the phone
- Monitoring and following up on customer orders and deliveries
- Preparing and converting quotes into orders
- Purchasing stock and placing special orders
- Inventory management and control
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Working collaboratively to achieve store goals
- Proven experience in Timber & Hardware sales
- Strong knowledge of building materials and trade requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident with POS systems and basic computer skills
- A hands-on, solutions-focused attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a busy environment
- Previous experience working with trade customers is essential
