Internal Sales – Timber & Hardware

Are you friendly, reliable, and passionate about helping customers in the building industry?

We are a well-established, family-owned Timber & Hardware company with over 40 years of experience, known for our strong customer relationships and commitment to quality. We're looking for a driven and experienced internal salesperson to join our team and deliver outstanding service to both trade and retail clients.

Your Role Will Include:
  • Trade and retail sales of timber, hardware, and building supplies
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with trade and retail customers
  • Providing expert product advice and top-notch customer service
  • Handling sales both in-store and over the phone
  • Monitoring and following up on customer orders and deliveries
  • Preparing and converting quotes into orders
  • Purchasing stock and placing special orders
  • Inventory management and control
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Working collaboratively to achieve store goals
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in Timber & Hardware sales
  • Strong knowledge of building materials and trade requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident with POS systems and basic computer skills
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a busy environment
  • Previous experience working with trade customers is essential
