Administrative Assistant (Customer Service & Internal Sales)

Bayswater North | Part-Time | Weekday mornings (8:00am–1:00pm) | 10-15 hrs/week | Onsite

About Us

The Pastry Lounge is a Melbourne pastry manufacturer crafting premium, handmade products for the events and hospitality sector—think mini pies, tarts, pasties, pithiviers, tart shells and more. We produce in small batches with real ingredients in our HACCP-certified kitchen, including select gluten-free and vegan ranges.

What We Offer

  • Weekday mornings, three days per week, approx hours/week (some flexibility within 8:00am–1:00pm)

What You'll Do

  • Answer phones and respond to customer enquiries (phone & email)
  • Take orders and complete accurate data entry
  • Process orders in MYOB
  • Maintain records and assist with day-to-day admin
  • Provide general support to the Office Manager and the broader team
  • Occasional leave cover for the Office Manager

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent phone manner and clear communication
  • Strong organisation and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate computer skills (email, spreadsheets, order entry)
  • Positive, proactive attitude; reliable and punctual
  • Previous admin/customer service experience essential
  • Must have unrestricted Australian work rights
