The Role:

We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our team based in Perth.

This role is to provide day-to-day support with sales and purchasing including customer supplier coordination, delivery logistics and general administration. Tasks include creating sales invoices, preparing reports, coding expenses, and liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues to keep the business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain business's daily financial transactions

• Manage Accounts Receivable - invoicing, payment tracking, and debt collection

• Assist with Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger task

• Prepare weekly payroll reports for approval in timely manner

• Support the team with the asset register, inventory, and monthly reporting

• Support the Group Finance Team with month-end closing, ensuring all transactions are recorded and ready for review

• Tackle ad hoc finance and administrative tasks and help streamline processes

About You:
Skills and Experience:
This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and diligent and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Essential:

• The successful candidate must have permanent and unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

• Must have a minimum of 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (experience using MYOB AccountRight is preferable, however experience with similar accounting software packages will be considered)

​Desired:

• Organised, detail-focused, and able to pick things up quickly

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Able to start the workday early (typically around 7am) to support daily delivery planning in Australia.
