Contract Administrator

- A bachelor's degree in either: Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Building and Construction Management is highly desired for this role - it may not be necessary if you have had years of experience in these roles with a construction company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software eg: , Microsoft Projects ,Bluebeam etc
- Previous experience working in the residential project, specifically in house construction and renovation; or experience working in the commercial project would be greatly regarded, but not a must
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Construction card, open Drivers licence.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Liaise with project stakeholders - architects, clients, subcontractors and suppliers, to discuss and resolve construction matters
- Prepare accurate Cost Estimates for projects. Estimating including compiling tender packages. Take-offs and ordering of materials
- Provide project scheduling, forecasts and cashflows
- Sub-contractor letting, Project cost analysis
- Issue project variations, Issue progress claims
- Ongoing review and improvement of processes and systems
- Maintain a high level of detail and quality control
- Problem solving throughout the entire project, finding & offering the best solutions
