Job Summary

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Bank Reconciliation & Cash Management including:
  • Timely and accurate reconciling of credit advice and credit investigations.

Accounts Receivable & Payable Including
  • Accurate documentation on outstanding accounts receivables.
  • Timely processing of all expenses.
  • Maintain a recurring billing diary system.

Payroll & Financial Reporting Including
  • Process staff payments where needed.
  • Prepare and submit board meeting documents.
  • Maintain and update ledgers, financial reports and spreadsheets to ensure financial integrity.

Revenue Support & Business Development Including
  • Provide the sales team with referrals to support revenue growth and promote cost-saving initiatives.

Fixed Deposit Management Including
  • Send maturity notices to clients.
  • Contact customers to obtain needed information.
  • Confirm withdrawal instructions and ensure accuracy of fixed deposit information.
  • Timely & Accurate processing of ACH transactions
  • Petty Cash & Asset Management
  • Ensure adherence to the organizations records management policy.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management operational needs.

Education/Experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 – 3 years' experience in accounting or within a financial services environment.
  • Excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills.
  • A high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software.
  • The ability to input data quickly and accurately. Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and demonstrate strong internal customer service behaviours.
