About us

We are a boutique financial advisory business dedicated to providing exceptional quality, personalised and confidential services to our clients. This full-time position will require you to provide administrative assistance within the Financial Planning Team. Part time applicants will be considered. We have an exciting opportunity for an  Client Service Officer to join our dedicated and talented team.

Training will be provided, however a background in financial planning / finance is preferred.

This role is on-site.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Entering client information into the Xplan database and ensuring client data is accurate and up to date.
  • Executing Financial Plan recommendations including processing new applications, data entry and monitoring the progress of applications.
  • Answering client calls and welcoming clients to the office for meetings.
  • Producing client reports, forms, meeting documentation and general correspondence.
  • Producing business reports, such as client lists, and assisting with business projects such as mail outs and client events.
  • Provide administration support to the Advisers including scanning and filing, typing, processing mail and other correspondence and helping out as required.
  • Consistently ensuring compliance standards are adhered to.
  • Following the business engagement and client servicing processes.

About You

To be a successful in our team you will have very good client services skills, including the following:

  • Experience using Xplan financial planning software (well regarded)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent at Multi-tasking
  • Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft office suite
  • Be motivated by administrative duties and financial information processing
  • Jump at the chance to help others
  • Tertiary education will be highly regarded
  • Respond well to demands on your time with the focus on productivity
  • Must be a self starter, but still be capable of following instructions when necessary
  • Enjoy the opportunity to present your ideas in a team environment
  • A methodical approach to decision making
  • The confidence to question where further information is required.
