Key Account Manager – Workforce & Payroll Solutions

(Financial Services Sector)

We're looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to drive customer success, operational excellence, and growth within one of our major financial-services sector accounts. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients achieve measurable outcomes from our workforce and payroll solutions, identifying opportunities to enhance value and efficiency.

Consortio is a dynamic, growth-oriented company specialising in technology-led workforce engagement solutions. We help organisations streamline contractor management, payroll and workforce supply, with a purpose of empowering businesses and individuals in the evolving world of work

Our culture is rooted in collaboration, respect and integrity — we encourage open communication, innovation and continuous process improvement.

We are undergoing a phase of expansion and opportunity — making this an exciting time to join, make a meaningful impact, and grow your own career alongside the business.

Customer Success & Relationship Leadership

  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders across the financial-services account.
  • Lead regular success reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure account outcomes are aligned with client goals and business strategy, proactively driving renewals and extensions.

Growth & Business Expansion

  • Identify and develop new service-led opportunities within the account to drive growth (revenue, contractor headcount, breadth of services).
  • Collaborate with business development and delivery teams to craft compelling solution proposals and participate in strategic pitches.
  • Contribute to tenders, negotiations and new contract discussions with a focus on adding value for the client and Consortio alike.

Performance, Metrics & Process Improvement

  • Monitor and analyze key account metrics — revenue, margin, contractor numbers, service quality, client satisfaction — to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, partnering with recruitment, payroll operations and delivery teams to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Maintain account growth forecasts, manage pipeline opportunities and report regularly on account health and commercial performance.

Strategic Collaboration & External Engagement

  • Work cross-functionally with internal specialists (delivery, technology, sales) to design solutions for complex or large-scale workforce challenges.
  • Represent Consortio across major accounts and attend external networking events to build our brand and deepen engagement.
  • Advocate for the client internally — ensuring their voice is heard, and their needs inform product/service innovation.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven background in senior account management, client success or business development roles — ideally within payroll, workforce solutions or vendor-management services.
  • Demonstrated success in driving account growth, improving processes and delivering measurable customer outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen, adept at interpreting client data, identifying opportunity areas and translating into actions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing at C-suite or senior stakeholder levels.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a growth-oriented, evolving business environment.

What's in it for You

  • A leading strategic account within the financial-services sector — shape the future of our engagement and service model.
  • A company experiencing high growth and transformation — your impact will be visible and valued.
  • A collaborative, supportive workplace culture invested in innovation, process improvement and client partnership.
  • Hybrid working model: core requirement of 1/2 day on client site and 1/2 days per week in our Haymarket office, balanced with flexible working when suitable.
  • Career development and advancement opportunities as both the business and the role expand.

If you're passionate about customer success, growth, operational excellence and value-driven account leadership — and you have the relevant skills and experience — we'd love to hear from you. Please apply now with your up-to-date CV.
