**About the role**:
We have an exciting role available for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Accent Lifestyle Team. Reporting to the AP Manager your responsibilities will include accurate and timely processing of invoices, delivering excellent customer service both internally and externally and providing support to the finance team.
The role is a hands-on position for an individual who understands the importance of delivering to tight time frames and prides themselves on the accuracy of their work.
This is a full time 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Coding and processing all stock invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements and actioning follow up of missing invoices
- Preparation of payments via EFT as per scheduled payment runs
- Stock reconciliation and cost reduction initiatives
- Actioning queries from external suppliers and internal stakeholders in a prompt and friendly manner
- Liaising and managing relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Timely filing of all relevant documents
- Various ad hoc reporting

**To succeed in this role, you will need to have**:

- Demonstrated experience within a similar Accounts Payable role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good organisation skills and multitasking
- Proven experience in dealing with difficult situations
- Excellence in Communication both verbally and written
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships
