**About the role**

We have permanent opportunity for a Team Leader - Operations Project Delivery, joining our Operations Services team based in Canning Vale. Reporting to Manager Operations Project Delivery Services you’ll manage and lead the efficient delivery of complex capital and operational projects, providing strategic direction and ensuring commercial outcomes achieved by delivering fit for purpose assets to our customers.

**What the role will involve**
- Provide direction to project managers in delivery of projects including scoping, design, construction, commissioning and handover of assets and the close out of capital projects
- Manage project controls and reporting requirements into the Water Corporation systems
- Monitor, control, review and forecast projects outcomes
- Provide direction for the development of procurement and contract establishment strategies and plans for allocated project portfolios
- Manage and provide direction in the negotiation, and establishment and administration of contracts, along with analysis of bids and recommendations for contract award
- Manage and coordinate team activities to deliver financial and organisational performance outcomes
- Undertake engagement with key contractors, consultants, community representatives, local government, regulatory agencies and suppliers

**Key skills & experience**

You’ll be qualified in engineering, project management or equivalent discipline with experience in providing engineering project management services. You’ll have substantial construction management experience in delivery of projects in a large organisation, along with engineering tendering, commercial review, contract award and management.

Your demonstrated extensive leadership skills with values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive and high performance culture. with the ability to, collaborate, negotiate and influence both senior internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
