Restaurant Supervisor – Cookie

Cookie's a Melbourne classic — loud, lively, and full of charm. We're known for our big Thai menu (80 dishes strong), cold beer, and a service style that's all about warmth and genuine hospitality. We look after a lot of guests — around 150 per sitting, and up to 300 across the venue — so keeping cool under pressure is key.

We're on the lookout for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to help lead the floor and keep service running smoothly. Someone who knows how to read a room, manage a team, and make guests feel right at home.

You don't need to be a Thai food expert — we'll teach you the flavours, the pairings, and the why behind it all. What matters is that you're curious, love good food and drink, and can lead with confidence and care.

What we're looking for
  • Solid experience in a busy restaurant — ideally in a leadership or senior floor role
  • Minimum 2-3 years of restaurant experience required
  • A natural host who enjoys connecting with guests and building regulars
  • Calm, organised, and good at reading the flow of service
  • Can handle reservations, pacing, and table turns with ease
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Keen to keep learning — we invest a lot of time in training and development

This is a full-time hours with plenty of opportunity to grow.
