Cocktail Bartender – Cookie

Cookie's a bit of a Melbourne institution — part beer hall, part cocktail bar, part Thai restaurant, and always full of life. We're the kind of place that starts with lunch, rolls through dinner, and ends deep into the night. There's a buzz to the room that never really stops — 26 beers on tap, a big wine list, cocktails that change with the seasons, and a food menu that's all about big flavour and shared plates.

We're looking for an experienced cocktail bartender to join the bar team. Someone who's comfortable in a fast-paced environment, steady on the tools, and genuinely enjoys the rhythm of a busy night. This isn't a stepping-stone job — we're after career hospo people who want to grow and stick around.

What we're looking for
  • At least 3 years' bar experience in a fast-paced venue
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, and seasonal ingredients
  • Calm, reliable, and focused when it's busy
  • A genuine love of hospitality — you care about service, not just speed
  • Works well with others — no egos here, we're a team-first venue
  • Keen to keep learning and develop your skills
