Kafeneion, a charming Greek restaurant nestled in the iconic Melbourne Supper Club, is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic casual and full-time Waiters & Supervisors to join our team. If you have a passion for hospitality then this is the opportunity for you

About Kafeneion:

At Kafeneion, we celebrate authentic Greek home-style cuisine in a warm, inviting atmosphere. We're proud of our exceptional drinks list and our ability to offer a memorable experience for our guests, whether they're dining for dinner or enjoying a late-night supper. We're open Monday to Saturday from 4pm until late.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 2-3 years in a high-end bar or one-hat restaurant environment.
  • Wine Focus: A passion for wine and a desire to learn or expand your knowledge.
  • Customer Service: Excellent communication and the ability to build relationships with both guests and colleagues.
  • Leadership: Opportunity to move into a supervisor or assistant manager position
  • Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a busy environment and work late nights on a flexible six-day roster.
  • Attitude: Patient, respectful, responsible, and always maintaining a positive attitude.
