What is PowerStack

PowerStack modular solar poles are a sustainable, cost-effective way to power safety, security, and smart technologies for commercial and community projects. With totally off-grid vertical solar, you can power lighting, cameras, wireless sensors, communications networks and more, all without the time or expense of running traditional electrical infrastructure. The Position

As an Internal Sales Engineer, you'll be a vital conduit between our technology, our outbound sales team, and our customers. From being a technical 'Go-To' for the product, to helping manage communications effectively between internal teams and our external channel partners, this is a pivotal role in the business. Working from our Sydney office on the South Coast (near Wollongong), you'll manage inbound enquiries, develop quotes and proposals, and support external sales activities with strong technical and product knowledge. Your overall goal will be to help drive sales by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solar-powered solutions.

Note:
Due to the nature of the role, this position requires an employee to be based in the office. We are open to flexible arrangements to accommodate family requirements and similar and there is the option to discuss work-from-home flexibility after the first year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and qualify inbound leads, providing expert product advice and support,
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and technical documentation for clients,
  • Work closely with the external sales team to coordinate and execute on client sales and marketing strategies,
  • Present as a capable, knowledgeable voice in the business, at all points in the sales process,
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing B2B customers and support their efforts,
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and support internal sales reporting,
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings across renewable technology, ESG and Smart Infrastructure trends, the security and lighting industries.
