About the role

Reporting to the HR & Payroll Manager, you'll provide support across the employee lifecycle while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, while keeping processes running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Support end-to-end recruitment including job adverts, screening, interviews, and onboarding
  • Assist with employee lifecycle processes including contracts, onboarding, and exits
  • Maintain HR records and employee databases
  • Provide advice and support to employees on HR processes, leave and entitlements
  • Coordinate training, inductions, and development activities
  • Prepare HR reports and assist with compliance requirements

Payroll

  • Process payroll accurately and on time (fortnightly)
  • Ensure correct calculation of wages, overtime, allowances, superannuation, and leave
  • Maintain payroll systems and employee data
  • Respond to payroll queries
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist with year/month-end processes
About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources (preferred)
  • Previous experience in Payroll (a bonus)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
