We're opening a brand-new cafe in Cronulla and looking for a gun Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to help bring it to life.

If you've got strong kitchen experience, love fresh, quality food, and know how to lead a team with energy and pride this is your chance to make your mark.

You'll work closely with the Cafe Manager to create smooth service, a positive team culture, and a menu locals will come back for.

What you'll do:

  • Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure consistency across all dishes
  • Manage ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships
  • Oversee food safety, prep systems, and quality standards
  • Support and mentor kitchen staff to perform at their best
  • Collaborate with the Café Manager to drive service and efficiency
  • Bring creativity, initiative, and ownership to the role

About you:

  • 2+ years' experience in a kitchen leadership role
  • Calm, organised, and thrives under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Reliable, proactive, and takes pride in their work
  • Sponsorship available for the right candidate
  • Current food safety certification required
