We are looking for talented, passionate chefs to join our award-winning kitchen team in a full-time, hands-on role at the heart of our Italian dining experience.

Who We Are

Pino's Vino e Cucina al Mare is a family-owned Italian restaurant in Cronulla, built on tradition, quality, and community. Known for our handmade pasta, seasonal menus, curated wine list, and vibrant events, we celebrate Italian hospitality with a modern twist. From intimate dinners to large events and bespoke food experiences, our focus is always on excellence and creating memorable moments for our guests.

The Roles

We currently have openings for both a Sous Chef and a Senior Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team.

These full-time roles will see you working closely with our Head Chef and team across lunch and dinner service. Weekend availability is essential. You'll be part of a high-performance kitchen where fresh pasta, whole fish, Fiorentina steak, and seasonal Italian produce take centre stage.

As Sous Chef, you'll act as second-in-command in the kitchen, leading shifts, supporting the Head Chef with training and mentoring, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

As Senior Chef de Partie, you'll be confident in running your own section, maintaining consistency and high standards, and supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in service and prep.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant environment (Sous Chef / Senior CDP level)
  • Completed culinary qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and passion for seasonality
  • Ability to manage a section and deliver consistency under pressure
  • Great communication and leadership skills with a team-first mindset
  • Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
  • Availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends
