Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef located in Barooga, NSW. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, creating and updating menus, ensuring food quality and presentation, and managing kitchen staff. The role also includes maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ordering supplies, and adhering to food safety regulations. The Head Chef will work closely with management to develop new culinary offerings and enhance the overall dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications

  • Experience in menu creation, food quality, and presentation
  • Skills in managing kitchen staff and daily operations
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and maintaining a clean kitchen
  • Ability to order supplies and manage kitchen inventory
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or a similar role is highly beneficial
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
