6 Head forms part of a vibrant, passionate and dynamic national team. Established in Head prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique dining experience. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere and ambience over looking the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

We are looking for experienced and passionate Pastry Chef who is committed to exceeding our customers' expectations whilst leading a professional and hardworking team.

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:

2 + years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high volume environment

Prepare all dishes to 6 Head standards and recipes

A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery OR at least 3 years of relevant employment experience

Strong understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service

Effective communication skills to maintain a secure and friendly working environment

Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards

Ensure compliance with all OHS legislation (act and regulation)

Ability to work over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays on a full time contract
