Receptionist - General Practice

We are looking for a casual medical receptionist, with strong customer service and organisational skills to join our well established general practice, offering approximately 15 hours per week, with potential to move to part time.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organised, self-motivated, pro-active and have the ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of Best Practice and Tyro is preferred, but not essential.
***Experience in a similar role within general practice is required***
You will be responsible for:
• General front desk & administration duties, including appointment management, and patient billing.
• Providing high level customer service to patients and health professionals within the practice.
• Helping to support the clinical and administrative team.
• Supporting the Practice Manager where required.
Demonstrated skills include:
• EXPERIENCE in administration within a GP surgery (at least 2 years)
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Excellent time management & organisational skills
• Excellent customer service
• Friendly and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
