About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Sandringham Medical Centre. This role offers competitive remuneration and an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused healthcare environment. Casual or part time permanent on offer with potential to transition to full time work if desired.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and checking in patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments efficiently
  • Handling incoming phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks as required
  • Ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all patients

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist and proficiency in Best Practice software would be beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and team members
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • A professional and friendly demeanour, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
