Full time medical admin job in both Epping and Brunswick locations.

Join the dynamic team at Sleep and Lung Care as a Medical Receptionist at our locations in Epping Vic and in Brunswick. This full-time role is an integral part of our medical administration operations, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical professionals.

What you'll be doing

  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, maintaining accurate records and coordinating with the clinical team
  • Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Assist with patient registration, insurance verification, and other administrative tasks
  • Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, ensuring a comfortable environment for our patients
  • Provide general administrative support to the medical team as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and healthcare professionals in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using medical practice management software and various office equipment
  • A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
