About the Role
This role is full-time, with flexibility to work weekends and evenings to support weddings and key events.
As Event Sales Manager, you will:
- Lead the full sales cycle for events, from enquiry, proposal, and contract through to event delivery and post-event review.
- Develop tailored event packages that align with client needs while maximising profitability for the hotel.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with wedding couples, corporate planners, and social clients, ensuring repeat and referral business.
- Work closely with the F&B and operations teams to guarantee flawless execution and consistent guest satisfaction.
- Conduct engaging site inspections and showcase the hotel's event spaces, dining options, and accommodation packages.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across weddings, social, and corporate events, with a proactive approach to sales.
- Upsell additional hotel products and services (accommodation, dining, spa, etc.) to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Manage event budgets and reporting, ensuring financial targets and sales KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Represent Visy Dior Hotel at industry networking events, bridal expos, and community activations.
About You
We are looking for a motivated sales professional who combines creativity, organisation, and a people-first approach. Ideally, you will have:
- Proven experience in event sales management, preferably within hotels, luxury venues, or wedding specialists.
- A strong track record of achieving sales targets and converting leads into successful events.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage clients from first enquiry to event day.
- A natural ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Creative flair and problem-solving skills to design unique, personalised experiences that exceed expectations.
- Strong organisational ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with precision and attention to detail.
- Commercial acumen, understanding how to balance guest experience with financial performance.
- Resilience and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and event schedules as required.
