About the Role

We are seeking an
Assistant Project Manager
to join our growing consultancy team. Reporting directly to the Project Director and Senior Project Managers, this role will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects from early feasibility through to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking to grow their career in project management and consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in day-to-day project coordination and administration.
  • Support the preparation of project management documentation including project plans, reports, stakeholder registers, and risk registers.
  • Track project programs, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with client and governance requirements.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to support stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
  • Assist with procurement processes, including tender documentation and contract administration.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and presentations for Project Control Group (PCG) and stakeholder meetings.
  • Support site visits, inspections, and reporting as required.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction, Property, Architecture, or Engineering (or working towards).
  • 1–3 years' experience in project management, consultancy, or related role (internship/graduate experience considered).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – experience with project management software highly regarded.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
