Are you detail-oriented and passionate about delivering excellent customer service? Join our dynamic Ocean Operations freight forwarding team In this role, you'll manage day-to-day shipment arrangements and documentation while working closely with customers and service providers to ensure smooth and timely ocean cargo movement.

If you have at least 2 years of experience in ocean operations (import and export) and customer service in international freight forwarding, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, we want to hear from you

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate shipment bookings and manage related documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate proactively with customers, overseas agents, carriers, local service providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment operations
  • Provide timely updates and effective solutions to customer inquiries, anticipating their needs to enhance satisfaction
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers and partners to support business growth and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and improve overall service quality

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in ocean operations and customer service within the freight forwarding industry
  • Strong knowledge of CargoWise and ocean import and export processes
  • Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Work rights in Australia
