**ABOUT SPARK**:
We are a digital marketing agency based in Sydney’s city fringe. We provide personalized and comprehensive marketing, design, and technology solutions for mid-sized businesses. A tight-knit, friendly team that collaborates well and works within a systematic process. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Lead to drive new business growth and in return, we are offering a 70K base salary plus a generous commission structure. If you come from a sales background in real estate, finance, or any other B2B sales environment this opportunity could be for you if you are agile and are quick to embrace technology concepts.
**YOUR ROLE**:
Join us and you will enjoy the benefit of an in-house marketing department that will provide support and resources to assist in the sales process.
You will be required to cultivate new business leads, meet sales targets, manage a sales pipeline and work autonomously. This job is for a go-getting self-starter with excellent rapport-building skills plus a genuine desire to assist their clients in the achievement of their goals. You should have a proven track record of building and nurturing client relationships.
**YOUR DUTIES**:
- Active client engagement to create new opportunities.
- Prospect for new business within our clearly defined target market.
- Quote generation using established processes (training provided).
- Work closely with all internal stakeholders (digital marketing, finance, and design service departments) and ensure all opportunities are leveraged to maximum effect in a team selling environment.
- Follow the prescribed sales methodologies and protocols by the strategies, priorities, and sales targets of Spark Interact.
- Ad hoc administration duties.
New sales conversions are then efficiently managed by our production processes. You will be kept up to date with how your client's work is progressing at all times. What this means is that you can spend all your time in sales activities having full peace of mind that your customers are well looked after.
**KNOW-HOW**:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
- G-Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
- Knowledge of contact management systems.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in the full Microsoft suite (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook).
- Marketing background/experience will be beneficial.
- Proactive work ethic with the ability to take initiative and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
