About the role
Join the Real Estate Institute of NSW as a Business Development Officer. In this full-time role based in Surry Hills, NSW, you will play a key part in driving new business growth and strengthening relationships with existing members. With a focus on new business development, you will identify and pursue opportunities to expand the Institute's membership and services.
What you'll be doing
- Prospecting and lead generation to identify new business opportunities
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to convert leads into new members
- Maintaining and growing relationships with current members to encourage renewals and upsells
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns
- Representing the Institute at industry events and networking functions
- Providing excellent customer service and support to members
- Reporting on sales activities and KPIs to the management team
What we're looking for
- Proven track record in new business development, preferably within the real estate or professional services industry
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities
- Familiarity with CRM systems and customer retention best practices
