
Project Support Officer

Working with a focused and professional team of 3, this role supports the implementation of a new Client Management System (CMS) for the Disability Supports service in Queensland, at a large non-profit organisation -Mercy Community.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, your role will provide project support across administration, compliance, reporting, analysis and stakeholder management, to help the team achieve project outcomes. Some of these responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and preparing for committee meetings and workshops.
- Assisting the project team to implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
- Updating the project register; monitoring and reporting on key milestones and deliverables.
- Ensuring key organisational documentation is updated to Compliance Standards, as key deliverables are met.
- Undertaking basic research and analysis to contribute to the preparation of project briefs and support informed decision making.
- Communication with relevant internal stakeholders regarding project updates and any implementation issues.
- Assisting with analysis and sourcing information in relation to business processes, data migration, data mapping, testing, etc.
- Contributing to other project tasks as required.
This is a busy role with lots of opportunity to contribute. Your superpower skills of organisation, information management, communication and document management will be the solid foundation you need to support the team to achieve their collective goal. Experience in a similar project support role would be ideal, as would be any systems or process implementation, analysis or testing. Any sector industry experience is also a bonus
This opportunity is a 6- month contract position (working full-time, Monday - Friday). It is a hybrid role where there is WFH flexibility most of the time. In-office time is usually to support the delivery of workshops and face-to-face key meetings. As a guide, the salary on offer is $80-$85K + 10.5% Super + Benefits on an annual basis (pro rata’d).
