Mercy Community is looking for a dedicated and passionate HR Administrator to be an integral part of our friendly and supportive team. As our HR Administrator you will play a critical part in maintaining compliance, supporting employees and managers, and assisting with day-to-day HR operations. This is a (6 months) fixed term position based within our beautiful grounds in Nudgee.
About the role
This is an exciting and unique role where you'll provided high-quality administrative support to the People & Culture (P&C) team, ensuring efficient, accurate, and confidential management of employee information, records, and HR processes.
What you'll be doing
Key responsibilities include:
- You'll save and maintain documents to personnel records in a timely and accurate manner
- You'll monitor and assist in maintaining the HR Support inbox, ensuring queries are directed or actioned appropriately
- You'll develop and prepare contractually binding documents, ensuring privacy and confidentiality requirements are met
- You'll seek signatures from employees for employment-related documents and follow up on outstanding approvals
- You'll update probity portals and other compliance records as required during offboarding
- You'll support the HR Coordinator with sponsorship tasks and maintain visa and immigration records in the HRIS system
- Provide administrative assistance to key P&C projects as required, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is complete
About You

- You'll have a high attention to detail and possess a positive, can-do attitude
- You'll have an innovative approach and energetic personality with the ability to engage with people confidently and easily
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume administrative roles
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available
