- Our client is a fast paced and growing company in FMCG. It is a national multi-site privately owned business with importing, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution of imported foods, particularly Indian and Middle Eastern Ethnic foods, into some of Australia’s best known stores.- Working as an integral part of the business your focus will be on;
- Extending the Company’s market penetration across the remaining National food retailers
- Lead State based expansions through finding unique opportunities with local based retailers
- Manage and develop current National mainstream and independent accounts
- Profitable category increases within expenditure guidelines
- Extensive liaison with internal stakeholders including Supply Chain and Logistics Operations and Finance
- Actively lead a small team of State based salespeople
- Reporting on all key sales and marketing based activity and performance
- Lead customer pricing and competitor reviews
- Develop and execute a National Sales Plan including new business development opportunities across traditional and emerging markets
**Requirements**:
- To be successful in this role you will have experience in managing food retail accounts, analytical with generating and reporting market related data, and good interpersonal and negotiation skills. Leading a small team effectively would add great value towards success in this role. Knowledge of ethnic Indian and Middle Eastern foods is a clear advantage as well as demonstrated prior experience in a Field Services role.
