National Training Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a National Training Manager to take ownership of training content development, retail training execution, and store engagement across Australia. This role is pivotal in strengthening store relations, ensuring sales teams are well-equipped with product knowledge, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

As the driving force behind our training initiatives, you will develop tailored training materials, organize engaging activities, and conduct store-to-store visits to build strong retailer relationships. This role requires extensive field training experience, a background in retail, and the ability to travel frequently across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and customize training content for internal teams, retailers, and partners, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and business goals.
  2. Organize and execute training programs (in-person workshops, online modules, and hands-on demonstrations) to enhance product knowledge and sales performance.
  3. Conduct regular store visits across Australia and New Zealand to strengthen retailer relationships, assess training needs, and provide in-store coaching.
  4. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align training strategies with business objectives and market trends.
  5. Evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics, store feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends to ensure our training remains competitive and impactful.

About You

  1. Experience: 5+ years in retail training, field training, or sales coaching, preferably in consumer electronics, home appliances, or FMCG.
  2. Retail Knowledge: Strong understanding of the retail landscape, store operations, and customer engagement strategies.
  3. Field Training Expertise: Proven experience conducting in-store training and building retailer relationships.
  4. Communication & Facilitation: Strong ability to engage and train diverse audiences at all levels.
  5. Self-Motivated & Flexible: Ability to work independently and manage a national training schedule effectively.
  6. Travel Ready: Willingness to travel frequently across Australia.
