**About the role**:
We are looking for an Accounts Officer to join our Finance team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will have the knowledge of business operations, understanding of purchasing and accounts payable policies, supplier and vendor relationship building and general ledger accounting experience.

The Accounts Officer is responsible for various tasks supporting the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Expense Management process. This includes processing of supplier invoices, raising customer invoices, credit notes and receipting, management of credit card facilities and reimbursements to employees.

**Duties**:

- Accounts Payable processing high value invoices and payments
- Accounts Payable Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable invoices/credit notes
- Expense Management
- Problem solving and maintain relationships with Suppliers and Stakeholders

**Skills and experience**:

- Experience with high volume Accounts Payable
- Sound knowledge of statutory obligations including sales, tax, customs duty etc
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision with excellent planning and organisation skills to achieve timelines
- Experience with operational accounting, financial and analysis skills
- Ability to investigate on accounting issues and the ability to assess impact of making early/late payments,
- Intermediate MS Excel and MS Word (it is desirable to have experience with Ellipse, Kofax and or other banking platforms).
