**Your New Role**

As an Accounts Officer you will be joining a tight knit and collaborative team and will be responsible for technical insurance matters from an Accounts Receivable perspective. You will be reporting into the finance manager and responsibilities will include:

- Managing the technical accounting for premium and claims, managing premium collections, liaising internally with insurance professionals and proactively monitoring aged receivables/keeping the database up to date
- Prepare and finalise internal reports (monthly written and paid premium/aged debtor
- Prepare ledger entries for premium and claims, compile stamp duty reports and manage applicable taxes
- Interact and maintain relationships across global offices (Aus, Singapore, London)
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as required

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- A proven track record of working within Accounts Receivable/credit WITHIN the **insurance** industry.
- Good excel skills and previous experience with different ERP software's.
- Proactive, ‘can do’ attitude - detail oriented and energetic. Someone who is able to identify issues and resolve problems and not averse to getting on the phone and resolving issues.
