Your new organisation

Your new role
You will be responsible for facilitating the efficient procurement of goods and services and ensuring procurement of these is managed in accordance with policy, as well as actively managing the relationships with contractors.

What you’ll need to succeed
1. Substantial experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in state government.
2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience procuring goods and services.
3. Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise, consult
and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
4. High level written communication skills with the ability to prepare high level contract
documentation.
5. The ability to identify problems, and to develop and implement effective solutions to
complex issues

What you’ll get in return
In return, you will secure a role in a dynamic procurement team in a department which makes a difference. The salary level for this position is $140,000 + superannuation and includes paid leave and public holidays as well as flexible and hybrid working options.
