Project Contracts & Procurement Manager (Client-side)

Location:
Perth with early site presence in WA.

Engagement:
Staff preferred; contract considered for the right person.

Why this role

Greenfield onshore gas project moving from pre-FEED to early works. Report to a Project Director with deep LNG/EPC pedigree. Shape the contracting framework, hold EPCs to account, and help deliver a tight schedule.

You will

  • Lead project contracting & procurement strategy (EPC/EPCM environment).
  • Oversee contract lifecycle: strategy → RFQs (via EPCs) → evaluation/award → admin/claims → close-out.
  • Set up supplier qualification, QA/ITPs and verification regimes with engineering/quality.
  • Drive variation/change control, risk allocation and commercial governance.
  • Interface with JV partners and deliver clear, timely performance reporting.

You bring

  • 15–20+ years in
    oil & gas major projects
    (Fluor/Worley/Bechtel/Woodside/INPEX/Chevron/Santos or similar).
  • Hands-on EPC/EPCM contracting experience (lump-sum/reimbursable).
  • Confidence working through EPC-run RFQs with client-side oversight.
  • Strong stakeholder skills across engineering, QA, legal and project controls.
  • Delivery mindset — you "see the end date".
