**Who are we looking for?**

We're looking for a **Contracts & Procurement Manager **to join our Delivery Phase Services (DPS) Region. Reporting to the Commercial Lead, this is a key leadership role that will manage and co-ordinate all procurement activity for the region and will be accountable to reviewing commercial arrangements and terms contained in proposals and contracts, including the prime contract and subcontracts.

As we look to transition from traditional energy sources to adopt more renewable alternatives, you can play a key role in enabling and accelerating this change.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Overview and supervision of the Procurement and Contracting Functions, including contracting, logistics, expediting, contract administration, claims management, warranty and contract closure.
- Establishment and maintenance of a consolidated database for Vendors, Suppliers and Contractors.
- Leadership of negotiation for key contracts and oversight of all contract negotiations for assigned projects.
- Leading a team of Contracts Administrators and Site Contract Administrators and working closely with the broader project team
- Development of capability and mentoring of the Procurement and Contracting team, including allocation of packages and projects to Procurement and Contracts team members based upon their skill set and growth potential.
- Establishment and oversight of procurement and contracting compliance management program.
- Arrange the preparation of standard project specific contract attachments including commercial and general conditions for the various types of procurement packages required to satisfy the project scope of work.
- Provide commercial advice and direction to senior stakeholders in relation to supplier and contract management.
- Actively identify opportunities to improve business processes and support the implementation of such.
- Overview and critique tender submissions and succinctly summarise contractual terms and conditions in departures tables.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Formal qualifications in a relevant engineering, finance or related discipline
- Demonstrated delivery through leadership or Contracts & Procurement teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of Material Management and associated deliverables
- Detailed knowledge of Contract Law and its interpretation
- In depth understanding of Expediting, Purchasing, Inspection and Material Management,
- Focus on excellence in client delivery.
- Well-developed communication skills - both verbal and written
