We are seeking an experienced Procurement Contracts Specialist to join the Procurement Team in Perth for a 12 month fixed term contract.

**Your Responsibilities**

The Procurement Contracts Specialist Position will report directly to the Head of Procurement, and will be responsible for supporting projects by managing end to end procurement and contracting activities.

Duties of this role include but are not limited to;
- Issues Tenders and RFQ’s to the market, analyses the responses and makes recommendation to award to the Project Manager;
- Negotiating contracts;
- Managing the Milestone and Schedule payment activities of Contracts and Purchases;
- Creates and Issues Purchase Orders in SAP;
- Contract variations;
- Expediting delivery of Goods, Equipment, QC Documentation and Commercial Documentation such as Bank Guarantees and Insurance Certificates; and
- Coordinating freight and logistics activities.

**Your Profile**
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, engineering or other technical disciplines preferred;
- Minimum of 3 years project procurement experience with an understanding of procurement functions planning and manufacturing processes in fabrication/manufacturing plants;
- Experienced in the sourcing and procurement of goods & services associated with materials handling and equipment; and
- Advanced SAP skills.
